In middle school and high school, Matrianna participated in School of Rock Chicago where she played guitar. She was part of their performance program and their Show Team program where she performed at multiple music festivals and venues around Chicago, such as Lincoln Hall, the Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Millennium Park, and Cobra Lounge. She was also part of School of Rock’s AllStar program in 2018 where she got to tour the nation with other fellow School of Rock students. They performed at venues such as The Knitting Factory, Space Ballroom, and DC9 Nightclub.

Matrianna is also the guitarist and co-founder of NYC-based pop rock band Strawberry Launch. They are represented by Trash Casual. She has been working with Strawberry Launch since 2018. Together, they have recorded an EP and multiple singles; played venues all over New York, such as Brooklyn Made, Bowery Ballroom, and Baby’s All Right; and have toured cities including Nashville, Chicago, and Philadelphia.
